The special thing about Olympas is that the card board tubes are made into a light but very strong construction by simply making 1 saw cut and sliding them together. It took us some years to figure out how we could make this work. Read the entire story

Why Olympas?
Extremely Strong
With its lightweight, prefabricable construction for large spans, the great thing about Olympas is that the card board tubes can be made into a light but very strong construction. With a load of 80 kg, only 5 mm deflection was determined for a span of 2.30 meters.
Safe and healthy living
Contrary to what one might think, our thick cardboard tubes have a high resistance to fire. Due to several layers of glue in the wrapped paper, it’s an airtight and windproof construction, without the need of additional wind screens or vapor barrier paper.
Environmental friendly
Tubes are made from natural, renewable resources. The production of card board tubes requires little energy and is therefore eco friendly. If needed, the tubes can be recycled to anything – such as new tubes.
High insulation value
Filled with an isolation material such as Isofloc© (paper flake insulation made from recycled paper), the Olympas system reaches a K value comparable with any other efficient insulation material.
